We are farmers with purpose

Our story begins in Pontevedra, Capiz, Philippines.

Established in the year 2020 by Samuel M. Sotelo Jr., our coffee farm was founded on Auntie Tina’s Farm in the very small town of Pontevedra. The farm was named in loving memory of his beautiful wife Justina, to carry on her legacy. Being a devout christian, a wife, and an amazing mother to Kaipo and Kobe, Justina will always be remembered as someone that shared God’s grace with others. The simple act of picking fruit from fruit trees had always reminded her of God’s promise of provision.
And she was never shy about telling that to those fortunate to have met her. After over 14 yrs fighting her battle with scleroderma, she went home to be with her savior in April of 2020.

After her passing, and inspired to keep her legacy alive, Samuel along with local Capizeño farmers helped to plant over 2,500 robusta seedlings from Dumarao, Capiz to the farm, thus intentionally making our coffee a 100% product of the province of Capiz. Rooted on the rolling hills of Pontevedra, our rich soil has proven to be an ideal environment for growing robusta.

Today, the Auntie Tina’s story is being told by her family and by those left behind encouraging others to be mindful and thankful for God’s promise of provision everyday.
